ROUGH OPENING
Lined with 3-1/2” nominal wood stud, min. If mounted in masonry, stud anchored with mechinical fasteners at max of 24” O.C. A min. of 5/8” gypsum board required.
SHIM SPACE
No more than 1/4” between stud and back of jamb.
ASSEMBLY REQUIREMENTS
Attach sides, bottom/sill and header with a min. of 1-5/8″ screws or 10d finish nails.
GLAZING
Approved fire-rated glass must be 1/4” less than opeining and installed with FireClips™ and sealed with Pemko FG1000 (glass face) FGS4000 (stop face).
JAMB ATTACHMENTS
Attach individual units to each other with 2” screws behind glass stops. Units must be separated by 3/4” MDF. Attach assembly to studs with a min. of 10d finish nails, not to exceed 24” O.C.
OTHER
Stop Application: Field or shop applied with 4d finish nails. Sidelight and clips must be installed in accordance with NFPA #80 and #105 Latest Editions.
